Senior Technician

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Senior Technician to carry out fault finding and repairs on industrial equipment and electromechanical systems. The successful candidate will deliver reliable technical support, maintain high standards of workmanship, and ensure customers' operational needs are met.

What is expected of you?

• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on industrial equipment and electromechanical systems
• Complete repairs accurately and efficiently, following a right first time approach
• Prepare technical reports for all work completed, including detailed reports when requested by customers
• Maintain high standards of workmanship in line with company requirements
• Understand customers' needs and provide technical support that considers their business operations
• Achieve individual performance and parts targets, identifying relevant cross-selling opportunities
• Carry out other related duties as requested by your supervisor

What are you expected to bring?

• Previous experience in a similar technical role involving industrial equipment
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical equipment, with practical experience in repairs and fault finding
• Knowledge of electronic boards and systems would be considered an asset
• A customer-focused approach and commitment to quality workmanship
• Flexibility to work additional hours when required
• A clean police conduct certificate
• A valid driving licence
