Food & Beverage Server

About the Role

Our client, a premium hospitality venue in Malta, is seeking enthusiastic and guest-focused Food & Beverage Servers to join their front-of-house team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences within a high-quality dining environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing attentive, professional, and friendly service throughout the dining experience.

What is expected of you?

• Welcome and greet guests in a warm, professional, and friendly manner
• Guide guests through menus and provide knowledgeable recommendations on food and beverages
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them efficiently to the kitchen and bar teams
• Serve food and beverages promptly and in accordance with established service standards
• Ensure tables are set up correctly and maintained to the highest standards throughout service
• Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests and feedback promptly and professionally
• Handle guest complaints and concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating where necessary
• Process payments accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, allergens, and daily specials
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards
• Work closely with kitchen and bar colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area throughout service

What are you expected to bring?

• Previous experience in a food and beverage service role within a quality restaurant or hotel is preferred
• A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A professional, well-presented, and guest-focused approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages will be considered an asset
