Delivery Person

About the Role

Our client, a well-established and reputable organisation in Malta, is currently seeking a Delivery Person to join their Distribution team. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of products to customers while supporting the smooth operation of the distribution function.

What is expected of you?

• Pick, prepare, and load products for daily deliveries
• Carry out deliveries according to assigned routes and schedules
• Ensure products are transported and delivered safely and efficiently
• Collect empty crates, containers, or returnable items where required
• Verify delivery documentation and ensure accurate record keeping
• Load and unload products in a safe and professional manner
• Operate company vehicles in accordance with road safety regulations and company procedures
• Assist with warehouse and distribution activities when required
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicles
• Provide a professional and customer-focused service during deliveries
• Work closely with the Distribution Manager and wider team to ensure operational efficiency

What are you expected to bring?

• Valid C1 or C (Special) driving licence
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in Maltese and/or English
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, responsible, and professional approach to work
• Physically capable of loading, unloading, and handling products throughout the working day
• Ability to work independently while also contributing positively within a team environment
• CPC qualification would be considered an asset
• Previous experience operating forklift trucks would be considered an asset
• Experience within a delivery, logistics, warehouse, or distribution environment would be considered an asset
